Watched My Last Battlestar Galactica Over Cable Last Night
Posted on 11:51 am by Paul ColliganI’m a huge fan of Battlestar Galactica. If you’ve seen the show, you understand. If you haven’t seen the show, watch it.
Of all the things it is, science fiction is about number 10 on the list.
But enough of that.
The show starts back up again on 1/21 on Sunday nights. By then, unless Apple makes some big announcements about iTV, I’ll be watching it on my video iPod (at 640×480 - so we’ll be DVD quality), hooked up to the tv, and I won’t have a commerical to 30 second skip through.
$1.99 for my favorite show, ever, uninterrupted. Show me the downside.
Actually, at this point, the downside will be the whole rigging the show up on the iPod, and not by remote thing.
But iTV is going to fix that, right?
And, of course, I can’t imagine Xbox ain’t negotiating for SciFi channel content right now.

Hi Paul,
I too am a BattleStar fan, I get SCIFI across my Direct TV system and I use SlingBox to run the show in the corner of my 20 inch monitor when I’m surfing the Internet.
I certainly like being able to get my science fiction fix when and where I need it..
I’m enjoying your status reports… so keep it up!
