I may end up having to hook a computer up to the television before the year is over but the goal here is a “simpler” solution - one of those media extender options (Xbox 360, iTv, etc.).

With my post yesterday on downloading television legally, I got email suggesting Vongo. I emailed ‘em asking what my options were.

We would like to thank you for you’re interest in Vongo, but for now we are not supporting media center extender to watch a movie from Vongo. we do support Toshiba gigabeat as a supported portable media devices. Vongo could also register 3 devices (computer/PMC). We are still working about other PMC to be supported by Vongo.

So, I could buy some fancy portable media player device, sync at the computer and bring to the television - but way too much work.

Vongo, right now, is a no go.
