“Missing” The Rose Parade
Posted on 11:43 am by Paul Colligan3 Grandparents were over last night to ring in the New Year (a Year of Living Digitally none the less).
Remember, this “experiment” is as much about them as it is about the tech. Even if I can get everything I want, legally, online. If the interface to make it all happen doesn’t work for “Mom,” …
Dad mentions “So you can’t watch the Rose Parade, can you?”
I say “Nope! Well, live at least.”
Heidi says “What, we can’t watch the Rose Parade?”
And, suddenly, the impact of the experiment becomes real.
2007 will be a fascinating year.
Please, fanboys, put up the best of the parade online, fast.

LOVE the idea of the experiment. It’ll be fun to watch how it goes.
But, you mentioned getting everything legally. I’m not a lawyer, but highlights of the Rose Parade unless they are from someone’s home video camera are not exactly legal are they?
I stopped and really thought about this whole experiment. It’s rather huge in scope when you really boil it down to the basics.
Kudos for setting out on this adventure.
