So, what is the setup right now? How am I pulling this off?

Xbox 360 is in front of the TV. She acts as both Media Center Extender and source of television - through the Xbox Marketplace. We have the nice Xbox remote control. She’s plugged directly into the wireless router via ethernet cable.

We wait anxiously for the arrival of iTV.

Downstairs an eMachines T5216 Media Center PC. She’s connected to the home network via Wireless G. She’s running Akimbo, iTunes and the Zune Software.

We have a Radio Shack video switchbox that also has a video/audio output chord that works on both the iPod and Zune. Yes, the same chord works on both. We’ll be watching the MP4 Video Podcasts through this interface. Any video Podcasts made available via WMV I can download on the Media Center and stream to the Xbox.

It is much simpler than it sounds. I’ll see if I can get someone with artistic talent to get me a diagram.
