Didn’t See This One Coming - School Closures Via VOD - Nope

So, we woke up this morning to snow. We needed to know about snow closures for school. Portland is one of those towns where if you wake up to snow (even if it is paper thin), half the schools are going to cancel.

Our old behaviour was to turn on any local news broadcast and watch the scroller at the bottom of the screen.

Can’t do that.

A quick check of the school disctrict website found what we needed, but it sure wasn’t as easy as the remote control.
