The fact that AppleTV runs on Windows is part of the brilliance of the product.

The main media server for this project is, as stated earlier, my (Windows based) eMachines T5216. So far, she’s working wonders for me and I have no complaints.

But when I first plug in my Apple TV and it streams content from that device, in all of that Apple simplicity, it’s going to make me wonder why I don’t have an Apple running everything else.

And my guess is that it is going to have the same effect on a lot of other people.
