New - Vongo On The Xbox 360

It is official. You can now stream your Vongo downloaded movies to your Xbox 360. You don’t even need Media Center Extender as it can pull ‘em off any drive in the network connected to the Xbox. You can read all about it here.

I already downloaded it (nice 14 day free trial even) and have started downloading my first batch of films. I started playing one of the “free with subscription” movies and it looked great. It wasn’t as crisp as an iTunes purchase but it wasn’t pixelated or anything obviously from a computer.

I put a few movies in the queue for Heidi and I. I even got a kids movie for the younger ones. Inventory wasn’t huge - but it was better than anything else I’ve seen for $9.99 a month. Yes, will be cancelling Akimbo before the end of this cycle.

Will give the full report after the weekend is over, but it looks like we have a clear winner here.

And you can’t beat the price.
