Zune Subscription Xbox
Posted on 5:18 pm by Paul ColliganWhy? One simple reason. My Xbox lets me play my Zune subscription music.
You can buy media streamers for all of the subscription services. I’ve even been known to employ a hack or two of my own that would let me stream them through, of all things, my Airport Express. As a result, I took whoever was cheapest and had the biggest library - hence my Yahoo choice.
But, … my Xbox has all my Zunepass music files in the same location as my own music files - and I get get to all of them from my entertainment center (and my Zune when I’m out and about). Zune integrates directly with Xbox and, man it’s nice.
This is, quite simply, ease of use that is worth a few extra bucks.
And the price is still less than a CD a month. I consider it well worth it. I could have paid for college with my existing CD collection so I consider this a small payment plan to prevent myself from going bankrupt.
